I talked to Crucita yesterday about Yaquier's progress. He has been in treatment now for a week and 2 days. On his second weekly visit to the doctor (on Saturday) we were informed that his Bronchitis has improved but it is unfortunately not gone yet. With that said, he was given an eighth prescription and sent home in hopes of healthier lungs this coming Saturday for his first IV treatment.
As delicate as this situation is, I am looking forward to him finally getting the nutrients he so badly needs this weekend. He is taking all his medications and the appointment for the first IV session is set for Saturday, all day. If he is free of other illnesses he will be able to begin treatment for the malnourishment. How exciting that will be just to have gotten him to that point!
Thank you for keeping up with us. Your thoughts and support are so important in making all that we attempt become a success.

My thoughts and prayers are with this family, and of course both of you.
