For One Another Happenings

Big THANK YOU to all who attended and supported the Tuesday night event at The Comedy Store in La Jolla. It’s not easy to get out on a Tuesday night but it was well worth it! The Comedy Store featured five of the best comedians from San Diego to entertain us for the evening. Not only were they all hysterical but completely supportive of For One Another’s water project in Uganda. Some of the comedians were able to use water filters and clean water as part of their gig, providing some comic relief to a very serious world issue. The staff at The Comedy Store were incredibly helpful and energetic adding to the lively night.

Prior to the comics, my husband David, and I presented our Uganda project and gave a water filter demonstration. The guests were very impressed by the clarity of the water and the simplistic process. Being that the venue is a comedy theatre the water presentation could not be completed without jokes and heckling from the audience. It was a fun, informative event and we are so grateful to our friends who spent their time with us and reached into their pockets to purchase water filters.
