Dear Friends,
As For One Another Foundation nears its ONE YEAR anniversary later this month, we could think of no better time to announce this NEW and EXCITING NEWS!!
Just this weekend, we received a call asking for our involvement in a long-term project in Port Au Prince. The project is a new school that’s going up amidst a sea of tents over hundreds of children who have been out of school since at least last January.
Carrie and Stephanie will be visiting the site and meeting with the current staff and directors of the school between the 24th of this month and the 4th of December. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the future goals of everyone involved, to look at the physical structure of the building, the layout and space, to develop an educational environment, a sound facility and to accommodate the needs of all the children.
This is pretty exciting news as the school would serve hundreds of children, helping break a cycle of poverty through education. The staff has been looking for some outside support and For One Another Foundation has been searching for a long term "baby".
As details become available, they will be posted immediately, keeping everyone in the loop and allowing each person to be involved in the school adoption process!
This is a great project because it involves so many people being a part in making the world a better place; when we get together, those little acts can mean the future to these children.
