Over the summer, Carrie Beth and I spent a few months in El Salvador working in a few of the communities, orphanages and homes that were in need of safe drinking water. Yesterday we received an update on this project.
We were told, “Each family using the filter commented that, to date, they have had absolutely no problems with it. They are all working well.”
We are very pleased to hear that these water filters are still providing clean, safe water for almost 200 people in some of the poorest areas of El Salvador. Thank you to all of you who supported this project in early 2011. Your efforts continue to help these people through the gift of safe drinking water.
